Treatment Process
During your initial consultation, an in-depth assessment of your problem/symptoms, current state of health, and medical history will be carried out, along side some basic observations such as blood pressure etc.
This is carried out to enable me to get a true account of the problem and also help me develop the most suitable method of treatment , once assessment is completed and we have agreed the best form of treatment for you, treatment will commence.
Follow up sessions will begin with a brief review on how you symptoms have progressed since your last session and a few basic observations taken . The rest of your session will be taken up by treatment.

Treatments
Back MassageTraditional Massage can help with Back Pain by helping muscles to relax and by increasing blood circulation to the massaged areas. This in turn can lead to the release of endorphins, which can act as the body's own painkiller.

Deep Tissue Massage (45mins)It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders.
|
Foot Massage (30mins)The feet are many times the hardest worked of all body parts. They are what hold your weight up all day long, and the longer you walk or stand, the more tired they will become. By receiving a foot massage, the patient can experience relaxation as well as pain relief.
|
Full Body Massage (1hr)A full body massage generally uses steady comforting strokes to liberate firm knots of tension leaving you completely relaxed and re- revived. It provides wonderful mental comfort as it reduces your body and permits your mind to recover.
|
Head,Neck and Face Massage (35mins) including consultationNeck massage is extremely beneficial in order to reduce the stiffness in the neck. Due to immobility of the body for many hours, the muscles in the body tend to contract which cause stiffness and sometimes pain. Neck massage benefits are numerous and has been known to relieve neck related problems to a great extent.
|
Muscular sciatic therapy including initial consultationMassage therapy helps remove waste materials from muscles. Benefits include "breaking up" muscle spasms and increases the flow of oxygen to the muscles. Massage also lengthens and relaxes muscle groups allowing them to rest. Range of motion and flexibility are restored.

What is Remedial Therapy
Remedial massage is a deep massage, carried out to create the ideal conditions for the body to return to normal health after injury. It is used to treat strains, sprains, broken bones, bruising, any injury, where the skin is still intact. Deep tissue massage removes blockages, damaged cells and scar tissue left after injury/trauma. It also helps speed up recovery and encourages more complete healing.
Remedial massage is also used for conditions created by lifestyle, for example, repetitive strain injury (RSI), and Back pain. It is designed to increase the flow of blood and lymph, particulary in the injured areas. It is often successful where other treatments have failed.
It is an unusual form of massage, in that it does not set out to relax you, the intention is more to fix a mechanical problem within your body. However all-round health improvement is generally seen. Including better sleep, increase in vitality and performance levels, as well as increased mobility.
